With so many options of cabinet door styles to choose from, you may be
wondering where to start.  Here we’ve outlined 6 different cabinet types
to help you figure out which you would prefer in your dream kitchen.
Raised Panel
Raised panel doors are a
perfect look for traditional and transitional kitchens.  In this door
style the center panel is built to
match the depth of the door frame.
If you’re looking for more detailing
in your cabinet doors this may be
the right style for you!

Slab
Unlike raised panel doors, these
cabinets have no detailing and

offer a sleek and simple look.  Instead
of the door having a frame, they are
just attached directly to the cabinet.
This style looks beautiful in any

wood tone or painted color and is
an excellent fit for modern kitchens.

Recessed Panel
Similar to slab cabinets, these
doors also have a flat appearance.
This type of cabinet is a great choice for transitional kitchens because they can
be designed to fit any kitchen style.

Shaker
The shaker style cabinet is another example of a flat panel cabinet.
These doors have wider frames
and are simple and beautiful.
Shaker doors can be an excellent
component of kitchens in any
style from traditional to modern.

Beaded Panel
These cabinets have extra detailing
on the frame that adds an additional
touch to your kitchen.  If you’re
thinking about having a traditional
kitchen in your home this style is
a great option for you to consider.

Glass Insert
This style of cabinet is used as a decorative accent in your kitchen.
Glass inserts are a great way to break
up a wall full of cabinets.
They also
give you the opportunity to put some
of your glasses or dishes on display
while still being in your cabinets.
